Drayton Park - Local Community
We value our position as a community school, open to all the communities represented by the children of our school. Throughout the year we organise specific events, such as shows and our popular International Evening, where parents, pupils and staff perform songs and dances from our school communities, to encourage parents to participate in the life of the school in a variety of ways.
We have links with local businesses who, for example, subsidise our Breakfast Club for all Y6 pupils in the week of SATs.
We invite community leaders as well as local guests into school when this adds an extra dimension to our pupils' learning.
